Melissa is awesome! She gives great suggestions but is also open to her client’s input. Their frame selection is the widest I have ever come across (although I’ve only gone to Michael’s). The pieces I had framed are so elegant. They will surely stand the test of time. Together, we were able to bring out the best in each piece. Now, I appreciate the art even more! Amazing! What a terrific place!

I brought in a piece I needed to get unframed, which they did, then re-framed it later (after I had gotten it autographed) and charged me NOTHING!  Also, Kim and Melissa are terrific and quite fun to chat with while they are helping you out.

I used to go to the Framestore, but realized I could save money by going here AND get excellent service!

Melissa and Kim really helped us figure out which frames worked best for our specific artwork, and made spot-on suggestions for how to place them in our home. It really feels like you’re hiring an expert interior designer when you talk to them.

They have tons of options for frames, tons of options for mattes, and tons of options for glass — you can get exactly what you want. We told them how much we wanted to spend, and they helped us find combinations that worked for our price range. And they’re so super-nice! We’ll definitely be back.

I had around 10 pieces of valuable art shipped down to LA, and I entrusted Melissa at Sherman McNulty to handle the framing of all of them. We’re talking about various frames, including a large canvas etc.

In the end the art was framed beautifully and she had suggestions that were spot on.

I asked whether it could be done within a few days, which is an incredibly quick turn around considering the scope of the work, and she said no problem.

The greatest beauty of art may be in its very subjectivity. Appreciation informs value, and what you love needs no approval. It’s the art for you.

The proprietors of ShermanMcNulty recently proved their understanding of this principle to me tenfold. I brought in a number of pieces, some new and some old. All of these are valuable to me, and several are simply valuable. Regardless, each received the treatment due any art.

From the outset I was impressed with the frankness of communication as their hands-on approach began. The carefully selected frames and presentations complemented each item distinctly and irrefutably. One required a somewhat unorthodox approach– they had suggested the perfect solution before I’d finished showing them the piece.

The work itself was rapidly finished. I called mid-week to see how things were coming along and received a cheery, immediate, (and most importantly: accurate) response. In the end, everything was finished ahead of schedule.

My walls are now adorned with the art I’ve collected for years, and each is so much more stunning and appreciable after ShermanMcNulty. Needless to say, I’m grateful.
